Blank Space offers you total flexibility, making it ideal for parties, festivals, product launches, exhibitions, photo shoots, charity balls, markets and anything else you can imagine…

It's basically a big, wide, open expanse with raw concrete floors, industrial girders and a whole lot of potential. The approximate capacity is 700 for a cocktail event, 600 theatre style or 540 for a sit-down function – but talk to us about your specific requirements and we'll see what we can do.

Can I supply my own food and beverage?

We're a licensed venue, so drinks must be purchased through Blank Space via a package or a cash bar. We can talk about food arrangements, because we can work with external caterers or do it internally.

What is the capacity of Blank Space?

We can host approximately 700 people for a cocktail event, 600 theatre style or 540 for a sit-down function. But let us know what you're after and we'll see if we can make it happen.

Where can my guests park?

To make a nice change, there's plenty of parking around Blank Space! During your event you can park right outside the venue, or there's ample street parking around Campbell Street for any patrons of Blank Space or The Spotted Cow.

Can we play music?

If it was up to us, you'd HAVE to play music.

Because we frequently work with amazing local talent, we can arrange live music for you, or you can link into our Spotify playlists, which are pretty world class – not gonna lie.

What A/V equipment is available for me to use?

We have access to a projector, speakers, mixers and microphones. We work with awesome people to source other equipment, so please ask us for recommendations if you need anything else.

How does setting up/packing up work?

When you arrive, Blank Space will be set up as you've requested. You're also welcome to come and add your own touches.

For most evening events, we ask that bump-out occur the next morning because guys, we get tired too. In saying that, we'll confirm all arrangements with you ahead of time.

What time do you close?

We need to wrap up the party by midnight. #cinderella
