Joey & Freddy Lunch

Freddy & Joey are coming to Blank Space for a sports lunch this September.

Brad 'Freddy' Fittler is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer and coach who currently works as a commentator and as a television presenter. As a player, Fittler captained both NSW and Australia, and in 2000 was awarded the Golden Boot Award. He retired as the most-capped New South Wales State of Origin player and third-most-capped Australian international player. Fittler has been named among the finest rugby league footballers of the first century of rugby league in Australia.

Andrew 'Joey' Johns is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer of the 1990s and 2000s, considered by many to be one of the greatest players of all time. Hailed as the best halfback in the world for many years, he captained the Newcastle Knights in the National Rugby League and participated in the team's only two premiership victories in 1997and 2001, playing a club record 249 games for the Knights. Johns also represented his country at two World Cups, and on one Kangaroo tour, playing in total 21 Test matches for the national side. He played in 23 State of Origin series matches for the New South Wales Blues (captaining the side to a series win in 2003), and played for the Country Origin side in 1995 and 2003.

We are looking forward to some great laughs about the past, and some insight into what we can expect from the future of rugby league including an insight into the NRL Grand Final.

Treat yourself to a two-course lunch with premium drinks included and spend some time with two of the most popular men in league.
